Louis Meat Market

Greek | Jan 25, 2008 04:44 PM

I am speechless. Louis Meat Market makes excellent Gyros. The one that I tried was the pork, and it was delicious. They used great meat and all of the traditional Gyros toppings. It is probably the Gyros on the Danforth, with the exception of Alexandros. The service there was great; the cooks there will easily engage in a conversation with you, and the fact that it costs only $3.75 is just the icing on the cake. Oh, they also offer chicken and a mix of beef and pork for Gyros as well as pork. They also offer souvlaki and 'Greek' french fries.

Sure it isn't a complete restaurant as they do sell meat and other Greek foods in addition to cooked food, but it is ideal for take-out.
