Lost North Miami/Aventura Restaurant

cal1634 | Aug 7, 2008 01:50 PM

I work in the North Miami area, and I think I have exhausted all local options (I may be the only person that has tried everything on Yakko San's menu).

I vaguely (I do love wine, but it doesnt help the memory) remember a place that sounded very intriguing, but I lost my notes on it. Here is what I recall:

-It is near Aventura, just off Biscayne Blvd.
-Very small, almost, kitchen-like, venue
-In fact, I am convinced the name had "Kitchen" it it? Beth's Kitchen? Sara's kitchen? Aunt Somebody's Kitchen? (or were those old girlfriends?)
-Extremely small menu that changed every day
-Had to call ahead to even get a reservation
-Very "homely" atmosphere

Help Hounds! I know one of you can figure this out. While I am waiting, back to Oishi Thai tonight. Ummm...crispy duck.
