How long does silicone kitchen "stuff" last when properly cared for?

Curious if anyone knows or has an opinion on how long high-quality silicone will last if properly cared for? Things like baking molds, rolling pins, pastry mats ect... Will it, in say 10 years, dry out or become brittle like rubber or some plastics would? Will it last "indefinitely" provided it is not damaged by sharp things/rough handling? As long as I don't cut them up with a knife or scissors, my silicone dehydrator sheets seem to be indestructible, and my Tovolo silicone utensils have held up beautifully to constant use so I was wondering if this is the case with other silicone kitchen goods?

P.S. NOT talking about the super cheap crap from China that may or may not be silicone either...
