The outdoor cafe at Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead was the next coffee stop of my week in St. Helena.
The cafe uses Stumptown beans.
But unfortunately, my double-shot cappuccino was another disappointing puffball. The underlying coffee tasted fine though I doubt that I received two shots in this cup.
This blueberry muffin is housebaked and the rest of the morning pastries in the case were mostly from Bouchon in Yountville. Tender crumb, lots of blueberries, and not that sweet.
The cafe itself can be a pleasant experience surrounded by LMR's gardens. Throws were available to guard against the morning chill. Several business meet-ups were in progress around me.
Afterwards I took a walk through the organic vegetable garden. LMR sells the produce at the Friday morning St. Helena farmers market and at its own farmstand on Saturdays and Sundays.
