I am not guided by Michelin. That said, I was thrilled to learn that L'Oiseau Blanc finally got one star because it deserves recognition. When we dined there last May, I thought the meal, service, ambiance (and Eiffel Tower view) were first rate. Even the bathrooms were cool. If this didn't qualify for a Michelin, star, I wondered what would. Well, it did.
These others are also newly one-starred: Fleur de Pavé, Marcore, Anne, Le Sergent Recruteur, Solstice, Le Jules Verne, Pavyllon, Aspic, L'Innocence, Le Rigmarole, Le Faham by Kelly Rangama, Jacques Faussat.
Kei earned 3*.
Zucchini appetizer at L'Oiseau Blanc was as delicious as it was beautiful.
