A very large, well known seafood distributor in my area told me that he could kill and split, etc. a live lobster for me, I could then take it home and cook it that night for Fra Diavlo, without anything bad happening. I had always thought you must cook a dead lobster immediately, not let it sit around...he says, no, it can sit in a cold fridge for 2 days! Any input on this? Please.
