Hey all, my wife and I just moved up to West 64th street from Union Square and we're having a hell of a time finding decent delivery or take out.
We've tried Rigoletto's Pizza, delivery, which was awful: rubbery crust and Domino's style sauce.
We've gotten wraps from It's a Wrap on Broadway, which were fine (I got the Caesar Salad Wrap and my wife got the Vegetetarian--both tasty) but at $8 each, a bit overpriced.
Mediocre Salads (also overpriced) from Pita Grill on 9th ave...
Have not even attempted sushi or Chinese, for fear...
My Question: Is this it?
Have we moved to a take out black hole???
I have little hope in lower Columbus/Amsterdam for anything reasonably priced, but I still want to believe that there are a few gems in the 50's on ninth ave that will make the ten block treck to 64th street and help me survive though the long, cold winter.
