I just wanted to share... we finally got to Limani Seafood Grill today for lunch. It's where the old Blue Water Cafe was. It is nothing like its predecessor, which is good IMHO. The place has had a complete facelift, fresh and clean and beautifully decorated. The fresh seafood in the display case is appealing... one look tells you there is no doubt about its freshness.

We sat in the front, the smaller dining area.... a bit chilly when someone kept the door opened too long. I took a peek in the back, larger with maybe 60-70 seats. It's cozier too and I decided I wanted to sit there the next time.
The staff is pleasant and attentive. All questions were answered without hesitation. Our waiter was quite helpful with suggestions. Exceptionally good warm crusty rolls were brought to the table and they were wonderful with the Mediterranean herbs and olive oil the waiter mixed at our table. The appetizer of Pan-Seared Scallops in an orange-basil sauce accompanied by sauteed spinach looked good and I asked for an entree portion. I ate half and took the rest home... delicious! It was a very generous portion. My husband had a Blackened Atlantic Salmon Panini served on focaccia bread with organic greens, grape tomatoes, shaved red onion, gorgonzola, tossed with balsamic vinaigrette. He really enjoyed it. We shared a Greek Salad which was perfect. The feta was just tangy enough. My daughter chose a salad of Pan Seared Goat Cheese over baby greens, pistachios, red beets, balsamic vinaigrette. She ate every bit. My husband and I shared a Chocolate Renaissance dessert- their version of a molten chocolate cake. It doesn't come with ice cream, but that request was no problem. The cake was quite nice- chocolatey and rich, but too rich. My daughter asked for fresh fruit for dessert and received a lovely plate of bite sized cantaloupe, honeydew and strawberries... again, a huge portion, but she was in heaven. The coffee was fresh brewed and the cup was refilled promptly.

While we were eating, the owner, George, came by to check on us. He's a very personable gentleman!

We will definitely go back. The menu is amazing and there's so much we want to try. If you love fresh seafood, you'll like this restaurant.
