Li Ho Food

I haven't seen any mention of my favorite Chinatown dive, Li Ho Food, on the corner of H and 5th. Best singapore style noodles in the city, for my money: never mushy or greasy, and you taste curry, not raw curry powder. The pork and eggplant hotpot is terrific; pork with sour cabbage is also a winner. Prices are a little high for such a hole in the wall...but worth it, to my mind. I think they do big business at lunch, cafeteria style, but I can't speak to that. Evenings there's nobody there, and the cook really attends to his wok.
