Lever House Restaurant

Very noisy, very cold, very uncomfortable, very sloppy service, very inaccessable for the handicapped, very overpriced, very lukewarm food, very amateur operation.
Reviewers say this is the Lever House answer to the Four Seasons. There is no comparison on any front. They may compete with The Brasserie in the Seagrams Bldg. but at much higher prices.
Lobster and Corn Chowder would be more accurately described as corn-silk soup into which small bits of lobster may have fallen, served lukewarm with the soup spoon given to the wrong diner. Grilled Shrimp wrapped in pancetta were at least hot, but very unimaginative, with no accompanyment or sauce. Both entees were served cold after a 30 minute wait between courses. The steak was overcooked and the salmon was undercooked. Neither was prepared as ordered. We cut our losses and didn't try dessert. I predict that they will last no longer than Pazzo did. TRB
