Stopped in this small Mexican bakery today for the first time. It shares the same shopping center as Taqueria El Grullense. The inventory is much smaller, more like the size of a subcontract in a grocery store. But everything looks pretty fresh, including some fluffy raisin buns topped with white icing that I'm now wishing I'd tried. I did buy a piece of "cheesecake", 85¢. Somewhat larger than the norm, it's airier and less dense. The cheese filling is sort of in between chiffon and ricotta pie. And, it's barely sweetened. We liked it.
