Lester's Diner - Ft. Lauderdale

Lester's is a large chrome diner, featuring deli food and the usual diner fare, plus some Greek offerings, nothing fancy. What I tried, however was done well and I look forward to a return visit. Speaking of done well, the hamburger was well done instead of medium rare as ordered, but still very good and the fries were first rate. The deli salad combo of chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad and cole slaw, with tomato and black olives and onion, was outstanding. Billed as a diet plate, LOL, it came with crackers which I quickly replaced with rye bread, an extra but worthwhile charge. Quantity substantial, quality exceptional. Service quick and cheerful.

Lester's Diner 250 SW State Road 84 (SW 24th
St @ 2nd Ave) Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315 954 525 5641.
