I noticed on Open Table that Les Nomades has an "early bird" 3-course prix fixe for $65, which is significantly less than their normal 4-course anytime prix fixe. My wife and I enjoy dining early, so I am interested in this option. Only problem is I am not able to figure out if the menu is limited or if one is able to order anything off the regular dinner menu (i.e. any one appetizer, any one entree and any one dessert) or is the $65 menu rather restrictive? I searched Les Nomades website and there was no information and e-mailed them this question and have yet to hear back. Was hoping someone here might have done this menu and have the scoop. Also, any information on the $20 wine pairing add on for this (i.e. do you have choice of red vs. white and are the wines any good)?
Also, anybody happen to be able to answer this question about Topolobampo? We have reservations there in a couple of weeks and plan on doing their tasting menus. They have three different ones and there is one dessert that sounds awesome, but I like the four courses better on a different one of the tasting menus. Do they permit you to sub a dessert from one tasting menu to another, or is it a strict no substitutions allowed rule.
Thanks for any help on these inquiries; you guys are great and I have learned a lot from these boards!
