just a quick note warning you off of legin on division. we were in that neck of the woods and wanted to go to wong king but the lines were too long for our elderly visitor, so we opted for legin--somewhere we had had some decent (if not spectacular) dim sum in the past. what a mistake!
most of the dim sum cart dishes were mediocre at best and the entrees fared no better; the chicken and string beans was greasy, and with almost no meat to speak of, a rip-off at $9 for lunch.
we were routinely ignored, had to repeatedly inquire after certain ordered dishes, and then when it came time to pay, our elderly guest waited almost ten minutes at the register to pay as one family after another shoved in front of her to pay first. when she drew this to the attention of the alleged manager, she unfairly blamed the wait on the cashier who "was new", despite the fact that the manager was the one taking the money and figuring out the bills. how rude and unprofessional to blame your own bad behavior or oversight on a co-worker, especially one who is supposedly under your managerial eye.
to add insult to injury, the waiters hovering nearby snickered and laughed at us as she paid, and our guest was shamed and infuriated. all this for poorly prepared food and lousy service?
