A friend and I went to dinner there last night, New Year's Eve, and were quite impressed by the food and service. It had been a long since I had been there, especially for a real dinner in the dining room instead of happy hour food at the bar. We ordered a la carte instead of the prix fixe New Year's Eve menu, choosing and sharing mussels with spinach, calamari fritti, a three-cheese plate, and their "green verte" salad. We agreed that all but the salad (very ordinary) were really as good as those items get. Also, our server was both gracious and efficient and other staff helped when appropriate. I've always liked the atmosphere there, even without the holiday decorations and atmosphere, and this time the food matched the atmosphere.
