I was running errands today and felt like getting a Banh Mi sandwich so I stopped by Lee’s on Annandale Road, got #11 the Special Combo w extra pate. It was pretty good but the combination of the extra pate and the Mayo caused a bit of a meat/pate/mayo/pickled veg blowout. Very good but not as good as Banh Mi So 1 at Eden Center.
Do all/most Banh Mi sandwiches feature mayo? I thought the ones I used to get used nuoc mam and pickled veg.
Their Bun Bo Kho/beef stew is slightly better than their Banh Mi. And their Thai Iced Tea is overly sweet.
