I am considering taking a few cooking classes in the Nashville area. So far I have found three places that offer classes and I would like to get your feed back/ experiences before I sign up. The locations are The Viking Store, University School Nashville, and Whole Foods.
I am looking for hands on vs. watching someone prepare something. I can watch them make stuff on the Food Network, I need more of a hands on style to really grasp the concepts and techniques.
Are there other cooking school options in the area?
Just to clarify, I am not looking for a career change, but I would love to learn how to make pastry or how to get everything I chop about the same size. Basic cooking skills and techniques.
