First, thanks to all of the 'hounds who chimed in on what they loved at Piperade.
We had a 9 o'clock reservation and were seated immediately. Service was excellent.
Warm piquillo peppers with goat cheese, California raisins and moscatel vinaigrette,

Bacalao fritters with pimenton aioli
Atlantic cod with potatoes riojanas, chorizo, thyme and onion jus.
Gateau basque with mango coulis
I was especially impressed with the bright, flavorful piquillo peppers! The cod was fantastic due in large part to the flavorful onion jus. The chorizo was thinly sliced and the potatoes seemed to have been marinated in a balsamic of some sort (which added great flavor!)
My first trip to Piperade will certainly not be my last!
