Lasagna timing: traveling dinner party

Alexandra Halsey | Mar 21, 200501:14 PM

Not sure what they're properly called, but some friends and I are having a dinner party with appetizers at one place, dinner at another, and dessert at a third.

I'm taking over for dinner. My plan is to make a lasagna and have it all ready to go (pre-cooked). Any suggestions as to how I can minimize the time guests have to wait for the lasagna to re-heat when we all arrive at my place? I don't have a microwave, and my oven doesn't have an automatic on/off timer. Can I keep it on a low oven? I'm concerned that I'll be gone too long and it will dry out.

Thanks for any ideas!
