Las Vegas Bachelorette Celebration for over 40s

Spending a September weekend on the strip in Las Vegas with about 8 gals. Hanging around a few extra days to see some of the natural sites like Valley of Fire and so on.

We need dinner and lunch suggestions. A few nice restaurants and a few good but less fancy suggestions. A nice atmosphere or view would be icing on the cake as long as the food is excellent.
I've heard that Portofino is good and Lotus of Siam too. I've had a decent lunch at DB and at Todd English P.U.B. Love Joe's in Chicago but haven't tried the LV version. On or off the strip does not matter.

Regarding steakhouses--- As steaks go, I prefer old school: outside char and red inside. Not a fan of the Ruth's Chris 'baked' style where there is no char and the meat is grey on the outside.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Also any help with finding dance venues for adults would be great. No rap and 25 year olds.
