Two families—four grown-ups, six kids ages 2-10—are coming to visit my family. For their first meal in Seattle, I want to take them to an early dinner in the International District.
1. They will eat anything.
2. They keep Passover, which starts Monday, so anything they won't be able to eat later in the trip is good to have this weekend. For example, they will eat rice and therefore rice noodles, so we can save Vietnamese for later.
3. They come from D.C., which has decent but not great Asian food.
4. Nighttime cart dim sum would be great—does it exist?
