Lapellah Vancouver review

Jmack1957 | Nov 30, 201006:44 PM

I first went to Lapella on the opening night in December of 2008.  The first visit was a 4 star experience but then it was opening night. Ever visit since the has been 4+ to 5 with an average of 4.99 stars.  The atmosphere is very comfortable, my wife and I sit at the chef's counter on most visits, we love sitting in front of the wood fired grill and talking with the owner/chef David Mork and our favorite pantry cook Jeff.  David Mork is an amazing chef that is always willing to accomodate my wife's vegetarian diet. On the nights when Jeromy is the chef the quality is unchanged.  You might think this review is not real because I'm using people's names but this is our favorite restaurant and we eat here 2 to 3 times a week.  These folks are like family.  From coming in the front door and having Chelsa remember we sit at CC 3&4 to Susie remembering our drink order and giving us great service and friendship each time we visit to Phil remembering what wines we like, each visit is like coming home.  Thanks so much to the Lapellah staff for taking care of our culinary needs.
