Whole lamb leg -- any hints?

I just brought home a whole leg of lamb....before the butcher trimmed some of the fat off, it weighed over 11 pounds. I'veonly cooked boneless lamb roasts before, so this will be a fun new experience. Anything I should know? (The recipe I'm using calls for a 9 pounder, so I know I'll need to cook it a bit longer.)
