Chow serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. We stopped in at 10am Saturday and were seated immediately -- quite a change from our usual experience there in the evening, when it's a mob scene. Friendly, efficient servers came by immediately with good coffee and menus displaying a fairly wide selection of food, from hot and cold cereals and fruit to waffles and pancakes, to various eggy dishes.
My eye was immediately drawn to the Country Brisket with Cabbage and Poached Eggs. It was a very tasty, house-made corned beef hash, with shredded brisket and chunks of potato mixed with cabbage, and all nicely pulled together with fresh thyme and lightly browned on the grill. This was topped with two perfectly poached eggs, and accompanied by two slices of very superior toasted rye bread. $9.75, and worth every penny.
