I just visited La Stazione, a new deli in San Carlos (on Old County right behind the SC train station). I found an amazing Caprese Sandwich ($4.75). It looks like they just remodeled and are under new ownership and the word of the great sandwich isn't out on the street yet. If you are in the area, stop by for this sandwich! It was on a thin roll, drizzled with olive oil and balsalmic vinegar and topped with lots of fresh basil, tomato and awesome mozzarella cheese (the owner said it came from some small producer in Benecia?) and then popped in the pannini machine. Check it out.
