Took my friend to La Scala for his birthday..Decked in white shirt and shorts he accidentally knocks his glass of Chianti $12.00) over. Splattered all around is wine, the waiter suggests we move to another table. We ask for a glass of water. The salad now comes over saturated with salty dressing. I now bring it to our waiters attention and he is perplexed He comes back with a 1/3 of the salad undressed in exchange for what we have on the table. fast forward to check charged for wine and of course, salad that wasn't eaten. I explained that I dine often and this was disappointing especially being charged for the wine but most of all not being offered a replacement of even 1/2 the glass. He said I hope that all of your positive experiences out weight todays experience. Nice comeback... It wasn't the money, it was the SUCKY CUSTOMER SERVICE. According to sources, owners just don't care! So I guess I had my last La Scala chopped salad
