Our party of four enjoyed the food very much tonight.
Caprese appetizer at $8 was authentic: peppers, mozzarella, olives, tomatoes. The house appetizer at the same price was even more generous in portion size. Two of us order the seafood risotto, and I thought it was about the best stateside risotto every. EVery seafood morsel was fresh, tasty, and not overcooked; generous as well: clams, mussels, shrimp, squid. At $17, quite a value.
My husband ordered a chicken dish that had him scraping the plate with bread afterward; our friend raved about her flounder with assorted greens and veggies, nice sauce.
Service attentive, but the downside was the noise level. It was quiet for about 45 minutes, starting at 6, and then became impossibly loud. Next time: 5:30pm reservation.
