Embarrased to put my real name down.... I bought as usual a kosher (Empire) fresh turkey and paid $2.99 a pound. at the Kosher butcher..was that excessive.....then the liver was so strong that I'm tossing it out.. I was using it for chopped liver..Realize there is controversy about Empire, but I've never had a bad turkey and that's the only turkey or chicken my husband will eat. Did I over pay?? What about the liver.. what does everybody else use?
