I try to buy Farmland milk in my neighborhood in Brooklyn because it does not contain bovine growth hormone. Lately I've had no luck with quarts or half-gallons of whole-milk--seems like skim plus and low-fat are carried more often. However, I've seen lots of New Square milk. It is kosher, but has nothing on the label to indicate whether or not it contains BGH. Anybody know the kosher regs on hormones, or that one in particular?
