Korean Meets Vietnamese in Chinatown

Chandavkl | Mar 2, 201405:00 PM

Continuing with the juxtaposition of Korean and Vietnamese that began with all the Pho shops in Korea Town, Asiana has now opened up in Chinatown serving Vietnamese and Korean food. While the menu is not extremely extensive, there is a decent variety of Pho and Bun dishes on the Vietnamese side, and soon tofu, bibimbap, bulgogi and seafood pancakes on the Korean side. Both are OK. Fried rice varieties makes this Chinese, too. Every other diner in the place was Latino. Asiana is at 727 N. Broadway, #120, a location which for decades was occupied by Pho 79, directly across from Chego.
