the knish request below reminded me:

When I was a kid I loved Mom's Knishes--they were disc-shaped, dark brown, and, I assume, fried. Anyone make knishes like this anymore? [and please don't recommend Yonah Shimmel's, I find those tasteless and they are a totally different type of knish]
