Kitchenaid Ice Cream Bowl Attachment and Alternatives

MonicaMadeIt | Jul 23, 201905:32 AM     7

So, our Kitchenaid ice cream bowl attachment broke. It started leaking the antifreeze solution out of a seam in the plastic (after about 10 years of owning it). Amazon reviews suggest that this is a known failure mode and we are lucky to have gotten this amount of time/use out of it.

Now we have to contemplate our replacement options... another Kitchenaid bowl which will eventually meet the same fate? or the Cuisinart unitasker? I am paralyzed by indecision. My family loves ice cream so this is an important question. Any suggestions are welcome!
