With kitchen aide pasta press are you only suppose to use the manual recipes? Iv been using it with recipes from lidia everyday italian, the spinnach pasta with good results. The spinnach dough is a bit sticky but I add flour as tge manual says to do if doughs sticky, with good results. I quickly pull the pasta apart and add flour before it sticks with good results but I noticed the manual calls for a bit more flour then lidias and im thinking maybe it wont get sticky at all with tge manuals recipe and i like tgat lidias uses fresh spinnach tge manual calls for frozen (but I can get a good frozen one or double the amount of fresh and cook toll wilted). I noticed the whethers a factor in that too. I also havd a hand roller mom gave me which makes wonderful pasta, the cheap bed bath and beyond one and it works fine (a little wabbly on the table since irs not a top of the line one made in Italy like the kitchen aide) but I wanted to try tube pasta and being I have the stand mixer it made sense. I didnt buy the pasta roller since i have a decent one. Im happy with both, but want to mske it the best possible. Excuse my poor typing, im on a touch screen.
