Kinder Surprise Eggs in Santa Monica?

TimToyGeek | Sep 10, 200403:45 PM

So a co-worker of my wife's brought her three Kinder Surprise Eggs (for those who don't know what they are, they're a German/international candy egg with a surprisingly complex and collectible toy inside a capsule within the egg. They're illegal in the USA) that she said she bought locally at a German Deli in Santa Monica, on Main Street.

I googled to find it, and there's a place called Shoop's European Delicatessen on Main Street. Does anyone know if Shoop's actually does sell Kinder Surprise Eggs? And is it worth a trip out to Main to check it out just for sandwiches and the like even if they don't?
