Just back from Queens and had khao man gai for the first time at the restaurant Eim Khao Mun Kai. So delicious, like the famous Singaporean chicken and rice dish but punchier. Does anyone know of a place in SF that makes this dish? Anyone tried to make it at home assuming you can ascertain what the secret spices are that the chef at Eim Khao Mun Kai uses (he apparently was brought to NYC from Bangkok specifically to cook this dish which is the only dish the restaurant serves). Oops just got sent an article that says Kin Khao and Manora make good versions. Anyone have an opinion or other suggestions?
