The key to making ground turkey a great addition to your recipes? Bacon (like the real stuff, made from pigs).

No, it's not a way to switch to ground turkey to reduce your saturated fat intake, but ground turkey has some advantages. It's a lot less expensive than ground beef, and it has a smaller environmental impact. From shepherd/cottage pie to meat sauce for lasagna/spaghetti to soups to casseroles. .5-2 strips of bacon per pound of ground cut into 1/4" bits and fried in the pan before you brown the turkey does the trick. Not only does that pork fat do wonders for carrying non-polar flavorant compounds but the smoke of the bacon helps cover up for what the turkey is lacking and having the little bits of bacon here and there in the final product adds a textural element that isn't going to come from the ground turkey mush. I genuinely prefer this combo to ground beef for most applications where it's being cooked into a final dish.https://wordcounter.onl/ https://vidmate.onl/ https://mobdro.onl/
