Kansas Road Trip

Jambalaya | Dec 4, 2003 07:45 AM

In an upcoming business trip I need to venture out of my usual Wichita area of familiarity, which I am happy to say does have some good eating spots. I will be driving north throuh Salina on 135, then route 81 to route 24 where I go west to finally end up in Osborne. Is there anyplace on the way I can stop for dinner, once outside of Wichita? I seem to remember a previous suggestion of Lindsborg for swedish cuisine, but do not remember the details. Any help would be appreciated.

To anticipate the usual questions of what I am looking for I will really be happy with anything since it is understood there is not too much in this area and I cannot be too picky. Actually, anyplace that serves a decent meal that is not a chain place or a McDonalds/Burger King/Taco Bell will be welcome. I like most of the standard cuisines, and will eat beef, pork, lamb, fish, or fowl and like wild game as well. Budget is not a real concern since I am on a business trip and I can't imagine running into a place out there that would be too expensive.

Thanks in advance
