July 2019 COTM: Foods of the Greek Islands

Westminstress | Jul 1, 201909:38 AM     1

Welcome to the July 2019 Cookbook of the Month! We will be cooking from The Foods of the Greek Islands by Aglaia Kremezi.

This is our master thread for the books. Please use it to share thoughts and inspiration, ask questions, chat about ingredients, consider our favorites from the books, and form conclusions as we wrap up the month.

Please use the threads below to report on recipes:

MEZE and SAVORY PITAS AND PIES, pp. 16-71

FISH AND SEAFOOD and SUCCULENT MEAT, pp. 72-145

CARBS, SALADS & VEGETABLE SIDES, pp. 146-235

DESSERTS and BASIC PREPARATIONS, pp. 236-272

Finally, I would like to extend a special welcome to anyone new to Cookbook of the Month (COTM) or returning after a break. This is an inclusive community for home cooks of all levels, even if you're brand new to cooking! We learn a lot as we cook together, and we are thrilled when newcomers join us for the camaraderie and shared learning of COTM. If you're new, all you have to do is cook a recipe from the book and post your report on the corresponding thread, with a photo if you wish. Happy cooking to all!
