I stumbled onto Jonathan Gold's review in LA weekly.
In particular, I tried out Rod-Ded in Thai town, on Hollywood Blvd. Their Duck noodle soup is supposed to be divine. I tried it and was very much underwhelmed. There are so many chinese places that do a duck noodle soup better than Rod - Ded. What is the big fuss about Rod-Ded? Does anyone out there follow Gold's palate?
