Just had pork with clams and tripe with beans (dobradinha) at J&J at 157 Washington Street in Somerville. The dobradinha was delicious but the pork was tough and too salty. I loved the potatotes in the pork dish, though.

Has anyone tried their feijoada? If I saw the portugese menu before placing my order, I would have ordered feijoada instead of the pork with clams.

For dessert, I tried freshly-made molotov, a pudding made out of egg whites in a white liquor sauce. Delicious!

They have also reasonably priced (for less than $16 a bottle) portugese wines.

Overall, a great "hidden" find that I would not know about if not this board. Thank you guys for posting about this place!!!
