From today's Dallas Morning News:

HEADLINE: Jimmy's has landed -- for now

Paul and Mike DiCarlo, whose famed Jimmy's Food Store in East Dallas burned in October, are setting up shop for now at Sigel's in the Quadrangle. Look for the pair – and their employees – to turn part of the store into a mini-Jimmy's, with Italian imports from cheese to pancetta and fresh sausage and meatballs as before. They'll even have some Christmas items.

Meanwhile, Sigel's is beefing up its Italian wines here for customers who relied on Jimmy's for the best selection in Dallas. The official opening is Dec. 4. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily; closed on Sunday. Call the old store number, 214-823-6180, for info.
