I made my first visit to Jersey (145 Second St., SF) last week. As a native son of the Garden State, I was impressed.
Had the Kale/Romaine Ceaser salad and "the New Yorker" pizza. The pie was a pork lover's delight, covered with a tasty sausage, pepperoni and pancetta. Each slice had a dollop of ricotta cheese (a rather un-Jersey touch!). It was very filling and two slices were plenty. At $25, it is certainly on the pricey side.
At the end of the meal, there was just the right amount oil left in the pan.
Jersey is from the Town Hall, Anchor & Hope & Salt House group.
