Ah, another successful Jazz Fest, and having my food spritzed with a little (for the most part) rain water on Sunday wasn't so bad.
I enjoyed my old favorites: crawfish monica, pheasant quail andouille gumbo (though it wasn't up to its usual snuff until later in the wkend - roux thing?), soft shell crab po boy. My new discovery (jeez, why had I waited years to have one?) was the cochon de lait po boy- that was damn good pork, coated with a healthy amount of crystal hot sauce. Love the cole slaw mixture added in - mmmmm.
Miss being at JF already. Those of you going, have a great 2nd wkend.
