Some of you are going to stone me (lol) for bringing up Kirala, but one very memorable item they had was a house made dessert with Japanese sweet potatoes, probably the smaller sized variety that had purple skin. Basically they made it into a pie and it was superb. This was a number of years ago.
Kirala is way too far out of reach these days. So where can a Japanese sweet potato pie be found that might be just as good in the Peninsula or South Bay, whether it be in a restaurant or a bakery?
