Japanese owned/run sushi restaurants in Toronto or GTA

as_toronto | Jul 10, 201906:31 AM     25

I am sorry if this thread is already on here. I searched but couldn't find anything. Are there any Japanese owned/run sushi restaurants in Toronto or GTA? I thought Wow sushi was but I am not sure. I am sick and tired of AYCE sushi places and most of the run of the mill sushi places. The fish quality is not so good and they also use a lot of rice. I want to try a place that focuses on fresh, good quality fish and smaller but tastier portions. I went to Sushi Inn maybe a year ago and it completely turned me off sushi. It used to by my favourite. They stuffed a roll with so much rice that I couldn't eat anything the rest of the day and I was turned off of sushi for months.
