I am looking for a solid, dependable Japanese-style grill for home cooking, to grill food semi-openly over my gas flame in the kitchen. I believe the Japanese term for such a grill is 'yakiami'.
Any experience? Any brands I should steer towards or avoid?
And of course, if you are aware of any availability issues regarding the purchase of such grills in my local area (Los Angeles), that would be great. I am open to buying one via internet as well.
