Best Japanese buffet - lunch & dinner

By far the best and most consistent Japanese buffet restaurant. Yang's Sushi Kitchen in Markham - Hwy 7 - 3 lights east of Warden on the south side, in the plaza with M&M meats. Just turn left as you go into the plaza.

Unlike a standard buffet, they bring you food to the table as ordered - so it's always fresh.

Lunch is $12, dinner is $18 (or thereabouts)7 days a week. The dinner menu has sashimi, fried banana ice cream, but that is the only main difference.

Sushi is very well made - they have all the standard sushi, rolls, hand rolls. Also a good non-sushi menu like salmon or chicken teriyaki, tempura, beef ribs, grilled fish, tonkatsu etc. I like their fried seafood noodles but stay away from their noodle soup (very disappointing).

Once you get your food, service tends to be slow and they don't tend to come back to your table, so I recommend you order everything you want on the first go. My other main criticism is they don't have chocolate ice cream for dessert - just mango, green tea, ginger and vanilla :o(

Be aware: Service charge / tip is included on the bill at 10%.

Since we've found this restaurant, we go back several times a month since it opened.
