James Beard Foundation controversy again...

While announcing more than 400 semifinalists from across the country for the 2018 James Beard Awards, the group is, once again, locked in controversy. Ethical standards of behavior have been added to the voting process, 'a litmus test of the moment', says The New York Times. More diversity is also being called for. We will see if this brings us a set of winners who represent the best the culinary world in America has to offer.

If you recall, back in 2004 the Foundation was rocked with scandals leading to the departure of many of its most influential members.
