New Jamaican Place in Raleigh

Jerk Masters just opened Friday after over a year of preparations. Donovan Carless, who had Rock n Reggae not so long ago, has opened this new venture as a take - out with ox-tails, jerk chicken, curried goat, meat & veggie pies, and rice & peas. Other menu items too, seems like the daily offerings will vary. Mrs. "G" is in the kitchen - she had a Durham place in the past - our Friday dinner shows she hasn't lost her touch. It is at 1909 Poole Rd., on the north side of the street in a small shopping center. No sign up yet, but the name is painted on the window. This is a few blocks east of Raleigh Blvd. Hours are 11 am - 8 pm. Pretty sure they are closed on Sunday.
