Izenberg's in Lafayette Hill (was: Deli in Chestnut Hill)

Thanks again to the people who suggested Izenberg's when I queried here last week about finding deli food in Chestnut Hill. The person I was visiting in Philadelphia is 84 years old and unable to get out and about very easily, so on Saturday I brought her a corned beef sandwich and a chopped liver sandwich, both from Izenberg's Deli on Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill. We each ate half of each, which she enjoyed so much that on Sunday I put her and her walker into the car and we drove to Izenberg's for a breakfast of lox, sable, eggs, and bagels. I grew up in Philly, but have lived in San Francisco for over decade, and it did my heart good (and possibly some arterial damage as well) to go to a real deli.
